Summer Glau

 Glau's debut television role was as a ballerina in a guest role in a 2002 episode on the show Angel. Director Joss Whedon was impressed and chose her to play River Tam on his short-lived TV series Firefly. She also played in the role of the sequel Serenity. Glau was previously considered for the Power Ranger role (White Wild Force Ranger Alyssa Erile) in Power Rangers Wild Force. However, she lost to Jessica Rey before meeting Whedon. The actress had a small role in the movie Sleepover where she played the high school senior Shelly. She was also in the "What's Eating Gilbert Grissom?" episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. " as well as season two of The Unit as Crystal Burns (the girlfriend of Jeremy Erhart). In 2006, Glau played Tess Doerner as a paranoid schizophrenia returnee in the second season's premiere of The 4400, and became the main character from season three onwards. Glau also appeared in Mammoth the horror comedy. Glau was part of the ABC Family TV movie The Initiation of Sarah.In Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, a show that premiered on January 13, 2008, Glau played the role of Cameron Phillips, a Terminator infiltration unit that is sent back to protect John Connor and Sarah Connor from Skynet. The seventh episode of the series, "The Demon Hand" featured several scenes where Glau (in the role of Cameron) dances in ballet, Glau also played Allison Young (Cameron's human doppelganger) in the sequel season's episodes "Allison from Palmdale" and "Born to Run". Glau was also the lead character on an CBS episode in 2009 of The Big Bang Theory's comedy.
