Sheryl Underwood, an American comedian and TV personality most well-known as anchor of The Talk, a popular talk show on daytime television. Sheryl Underwood was born in Arkansas, was raised between Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl is from a troubled family. She spent most of her growing up taking care of her younger sister Frankie who suffered from an illness called polio. As a teenager, she experienced many issues with her mother. Sheryl states that one time her mom cut her father for being too close to him. Sheryl joined up the military right after her graduation from the college. Her passions were in comedy. She became the first female winner of the contest Miller Lite Comedy Search held in 1989. In 1992, she began her TV debut as a regular on the HBO show Def Comedy Jam. She hosted a show on television at the time of her debut on Oh Drama! Since 2011, she has been being a co-host for The Talk, a talk show. The Talk. In addition, she has appeared as the fictional character in TV shows such as Bulworth Nicki as well as Beauty Shop.
